Jack and Joan Eccles

After serving with the RAF in WW2, Jack returned to Germany to help rebuild the decimated nation. In 1948 he joined the Ministry of Agriculture in Northern Ireland and was later awarded the BEM (British Empire Medal) for his services in NI with the department.

Jack and Joan moved to Omagh, County Tyrone. They lived in Cannondale. They had nine children, seven boys and two girls.
